About The Position

The Social Media Community Coordinator is a marketing role that will manage GoMacro’s Brand Ambassador Program, own social media community management, lead TikTok video production, and assist with content production of various social media platforms. This role will also assist with organic social media planning and influencer hires.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a social media, influencer, and/or brand ambassador management role
  • Must have a passion for social media and be able to present new opportunities to evolve our ongoing strategy
  • Ability to capture and edit video for Reels/TikTok and produce assets individually, on a deadline
  • Ability to manage new and long-term influencer and creator relationships on behalf of the brand
  • Ability to manage a high volume of emails and juggle multiple projects
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree, Marketing or Communications preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Food and Beverage industry a bonus, but not required
  • Adobe Suite knowledge preferred
  • Must be a self-starter and take initiative
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication skills; speaking, presenting, writing, and editing
  • Comfortable being on-camera and executing brand-appropriate TikTok trends

Responsibilities

  • Own, audit, and build upon current brand ambassador program to ensure a best-in-class program for our growing community
  • Manage inbound ambassador applications and ensure a timely response to all applicants
  • Ensure all brand ambassador troubleshooting needs are met, including serving as the first point of contact for any ambassador questions, ensuring all codes are live, and problem solving any new technical web issues to our web team
  • Maintain effective and efficient community engagement across all social media channels
  • Nurture and maintain long-term brand partner relationships by providing in-kind donations to events and organizations
  • Ensure all appropriate partners are considered for ongoing campaigns and partnership opportunities
  • Assist in third-party produced photo and video shoots each month, executed by a network of sponsored content creators. Production responsibilities include but are not limited to: creative direction, product procurement, set design, wardrobe styling, caption copywriting, etc.
  • Execute contracts with content creator and influencer partners while ensuring all licensing rights are followed
  • Organize the Marketing team's content assets to keep relevant media up-to-date and easily accessible for company-wide needs
  • Create photography and video content as needed to support ad hoc marketing initiatives
  • Assist in ideation for social media content to achieve KPIs and support overall marketing strategy
  • Brainstorm and develop new content ideas in collaboration with cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment with broader campaigns and marketing priorities
