RECIPES Social Media Assistant (Student)

About The Position
RECIPES is an interdisciplinary research network based at AU made up of faculty, staff, and students. We partner with non-profits, frontline workers, community members, and policymakers across the food system on research to make the wasteful US food system more sustainable, equitable, and resilient. RECIPES is looking to hire a Social Media Assistant to advance our educational messaging, raise public awareness for food and sustainability issues, and make scientific content more accessible.
Requirements
- This position is available only to enrolled American University students.
- Must be an enrolled American University student.
Responsibilities
- Create graphics, event announcements, researcher spotlights, and more for the RECIPES Instagram account.
- Write blog posts, research updates, and articles for the RECIPES website.
- Ensure products are adhere to RECIPES branding guidelines and standards.
- Attend monthly meetings with social media team.
