About The Position

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Social Media and Marketing Assistant for its partner organization, Safe Sports Network. The assistant supports Safe Sports Network with its social media and marketing programs. In collaboration with the Development and Communications Manager, the assistant will be responsible for supporting marketing and communications on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and others) and the creation of digital assets, including travel to off-site locations to collect video and photo media.

Responsibilities

Collecting video recordings and taking photographs for media content.
Travel to off-site locations (i.e. schools during practice and game times).
Support creation of materials (photos, videos, etc.) for social media platforms; May include posting on social media platforms.
Collaborate with Development and Communications Manager on projects and events, including communications to donors, student ambassadors, and other volunteers.
Help with creation of digital and printed collateral including event materials, direct mail, newsletters, and infographics.
Assist with developing and collecting content for monthly e-newsletters and quarterly impact videos, including actually recording videos and taking photographs for use in materials.
Support tracking of metrics on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
Perform other duties as assigned by staff managers.
