Des Moines Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the 26-27 school year to serve as a Social Emotional Behavioral Health Interventionist. This position will start in August 2026. Any elementary endorsed applicant (K-6) with a comfort and interest in supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students is encouraged to apply. The Social Emotional Behavioral Health Interventionist is responsible for supporting students by promoting the social, emotional, and behavioral development of students. The Social Emotional Behavioral Health Interventionist serves students in Title I Targeted and Schoolwide programs to support and provide targeted interventions for at risk students within the school’s MTSS. This position requires continuous use of independent judgment.
