About The Position

Maxine’s Coffee is seeking a creative and reliable Part-Time Social Content Creator to develop and publish engaging social media content that embodies the Maxine’s brand. This role is primarily focused on content creation and posting, rather than comprehensive social media management.

Requirements

• Strong eye for visually engaging, social-first content.
• Proficient in shooting and editing short-form video and photography.
• Ability to work independently and meet content deadlines consistently.
• Understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends, with the ability to create content that doesn't solely rely on trends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe, Later, or similar tools.
• Experience creating content for coffee, food/beverage, lifestyle, fashion, or retail brands.

Responsibilities

• Create approximately 12 pieces of social content per month for Instagram/TikTok.
• Capture and edit short-form video, Reels, photography, and simple social-first content.
• Develop content focusing on Coffee + Café (drinks, seasonal menus, café moments, product features, coffee visuals) and Maxine’s Apparel (tees, sweatshirts, hats, merchandise).
• Transform basic concepts and instructions into polished, ready-to-post content.
• Schedule and publish approved content using Later.
• Periodically visit Maxine’s Coffee to capture new content.
• Stay informed about current social media trends and adapt them to the Maxine’s brand.
