About The Position

We are an industry-leading architectural metal fabricator operating three specialized product brands under our parent company identity. From sleek exterior facade systems specified by premier architectural firms to heavy-duty interior metal solutions built for trade installers, we combine craftsmanship with cutting-edge manufacturing technology. We don’t make cookie-cutter products—we build the metal elements that define modern architecture. We are seeking a social-first visual storyteller who excels at interpersonal communications, getting hands-on in industrial environments, and deeply understands how to engineer short-form video for platform algorithms and audience retention. As our Social-First Content Creator, you aren't just taking photos or operating a camera—you own the creative execution that drives our brand visibility. You will step onto our shop floor and active construction sites to bring our work to life on camera, transforming real-world manufacturing into platform-native content that hooks viewers, builds community, and expands our digital footprint. Every piece of content you produce will be created with intent: capturing attention, driving qualified industry engagement, and growing our audience of architects, contractors, and trade professionals. You will work directly with our Marketing Director on strategy to fuel our social channels and build our library of project case studies—showing architects how incredible our products look, showing GCs how skilled our fabricators and installers are, and showing subcontractors how easy our products are to install.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of modern algorithms, platform mechanics, retention graphs, visual hooks, and editing styles that drive organic distribution on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • 2+ years of professional video production, photography, and short-form editing experience (portfolio, active social channels managed, or video reel required with application).
  • Outstanding verbal and relational communication skills—you easily connect with shop craftsmen, field crews, engineers, and leadership to uncover compelling stories.
  • Mastery of fast-paced video/photo editing tools (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Lightroom, or Final Cut Pro).
  • Comfortable working on active manufacturing shop floors and construction environments (safety gear/PPE provided—steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests are part of the daily uniform).
  • Deep understanding of framing, lighting, motion tracking, and audio capture in variable, fast-moving environments.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel to DFW job sites, with the ability for occasional out-of-town trips.

Nice To Haves

  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is a major plus (or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire; company-funded).

Responsibilities

  • Shoot, edit, and optimize platform-native short-form video (Instagram Reels, LinkedIn clips, YouTube Shorts/TikTok) using strong visual hooks, strategic pacing, trend-aware audio, and clear copy.
  • Transform technical fabrication, construction processes, and finished projects into captivating "How It’s Made" visual content that highlights the skill and craftsmanship of our team.
  • Adapt content tone to resonate with specific target segments—dramatic, editorial, and design-focused for architects; practical, gritty, and efficiency-focused for installers and contractors.
  • Develop an internal network with colleagues to stay plugged into daily manufacturing action—laser cutting, CNC machining, brake pressing, welding sparks, and custom metal finishing.
  • Travel to active job sites across the DFW area (and occasional out-of-town trips) to document installation progress, field crews at work, finished hero projects, and content for corporate and training videos.
  • Capture high-end aerial footage of completed building facades and commercial developments.
  • Conduct quick, on-the-ground video/audio interviews with our shop crew, engineers, project managers, and installers to capture the narrative arc behind complex builds.
  • Draft simple narrative arcs and bullet-point summaries from site visits to support technical case studies and email feature stories.
  • Organize, tag, and maintain a high-resolution digital asset library of raw photos and video footage.
  • Partner with our Virtual Assistant to hand off visual assets for graphic overlays, formatting, and platform scheduling.
