About The Position

Enable Ireland is seeking a highly-motivated Social Care Worker to join their Adult Day Services team in Limerick City. This full-time, permanent role involves providing social care support to adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities, or mild to moderate intellectual disabilities and Autism. The post holder will assist Service Users with their needs, goals, and activities according to their individual preferences.

Requirements

Hold a professional registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.
Have a Schedule 3 qualification or a comparable qualification recognised by the Social Care Workers Registration Board.
Possess the knowledge, skills, and suitability required to perform the role effectively.
Maintain annual registration on the Social Care Workers Register.
Minimum of 1 year's post-registration experience working specifically with adults with Autism.
Experience in contributing to the development of personal plans.
Experience and knowledge of the role of a key worker.
Experience contributing to and implementing behaviour support plans.
Experience of delivering personal care.
Experience of assisting adults with medical needs/administering medication.
Experience of engaging in professional supervision.
Possess a full, clean, manual driving licence.
Must be eligible to work in the state.
Basic IT skills.
