About The Position
i9 Sports in Scottsdale/Phoenix is seeking enthusiastic individuals to referee their fall youth soccer league. No prior officiating experience is required; training will be provided for those who are punctual, professional, and presentable. This is a 1099 independent contractor role. i9 Sports is the nation's largest multi-sport provider focused on community-based youth sports programs, offering leagues, camps, and clinics for various sports and aiming to teach kids life lessons through sportsmanship, fun, and age-appropriate instruction.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have an email address and a cell phone.
- Must have reliable transportation to the parks.
- Must be enthusiastic, on time, professional, and clean-cut.
Nice To Haves
- Officiating experience is not required, but preferred.
- Preference for referees to have their own ref shirt.
Responsibilities
- Officiate youth soccer games on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Ensure games start and end on time.
- Maintain a professional and presentable demeanor on the field.
