About The Position

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and energetic After-School Sports Coaches to lead fun and engaging Soccer or Flag Football programs for elementary-aged students in Baltimore, MD. This is a part-time, after-school position, Monday through Friday, with 1.5-hour sessions. The role involves teaching age-appropriate fundamentals and skills, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior, and following a structured curriculum. Coaches will create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment, supervise groups of students, and encourage participation, confidence, and skill development. Professional communication with school staff and BBA leadership is also expected. This role offers a flexible afternoon schedule, a consistent weekly schedule, and opportunities for advancement within BBA Afterschool.

Requirements

• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Baltimore County
• Dependable and punctual
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Must successfully complete the required Baltimore County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process

Nice To Haves

• Soccer or flag football playing/coaching experience preferred but not required
• Experience in both sports is a plus
• Experience working with children is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging soccer or flag football sessions for elementary students
