About The Position

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and energetic After-School Sports Coaches to lead fun and engaging Soccer or Flag Football programs for elementary-aged students in Baltimore, MD. This part-time, after-school position involves leading 1.5-hour sessions Monday through Friday in the afternoons. The role offers a flexible schedule, consistent weekly hours, and provides curriculum and equipment. It's a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact by helping children develop athletic skills, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Requirements

• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Baltimore City
• Dependable and punctual
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Must successfully complete the required Baltimore City Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process

Nice To Haves

• Soccer or flag football playing/coaching experience is preferred but not required
• Experience in both sports is a plus
• Experience working with children is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging soccer or flag football sessions for elementary students
• Teach age-appropriate fundamentals and skills
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
• Encourage participation, confidence, and skill development
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
