About The Position

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic and dependable After-School Soccer Instructors to lead fun, engaging soccer programs for elementary-aged students in Springfield and surrounding Fairfax County schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in your community by coaching, mentoring, and helping children develop their soccer skills while building confidence and teamwork. This role is ideal for experienced coaches, former players, teachers, college students, or anyone passionate about working with children.

Requirements

• Soccer playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Springfield and Fairfax County
• Dependable and punctual
• Must successfully complete the required school district background check and fingerprinting process

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging soccer sessions for elementary students
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
• Teach soccer fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
• Encourage participation, confidence, and skill development
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
