About The Position

The Soccer Commissioner will be responsible for assuring the quality, control, and strength of soccer programs. This role involves spearheading league audits and evaluations, ensuring player growth and retention, and acting as a first line of communication for the soccer player base both onsite and online. The commissioner will resolve customer issues with accuracy and efficiency, monitor player feedback for product improvement, and support on-field game day operations. Additionally, they will assist with training part-time staff, handle player communication, manage schedules and league operations, and maintain league equipment.

Requirements

Ability to work in-office 10-15 hours a week
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
Can coordinate organizational tools and resources effectively and comfortably
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Dynamic personality interested in working in, and contributing to, a fun and active sporting environment
Able to lift and transport event materials as needed

Responsibilities

Assure quality, control, and strength of soccer programs through site visits
Spearhead league audits & evaluation for soccer programming
Ensure growth & retention of players for Soccer programming
Act a first line of communication for soccer player base both onsite and online
Resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency
Monitor player experience feedback to improve product
Support on-field game day operations of soccer sports programming
Assist with the training of part-time staff (hosts and referees)
Handle player communication - sending communications to soccer player base
Assist with schedules and overall league operations
Maintain equipment for leagues and programming including ordering replacements, noting damages, and reporting to the market’s equipment lead
