About The Position
Graland Country Day School is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable Soccer Co-Coach who loves the game and thrives on teaching fundamentals, strategy, and sportsmanship. This position fits perfectly into a club coach's schedule, wrapping up well before evening club practices begin. The season runs from August 19 – October 21, 2026, with practices Monday - Thursday from 2:15pm - 4:30pm and Friday from 2:15pm - 3:10pm. The stipend range is $4,300 – $6,000, commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Proven track record working with middle school-aged youth.
- Deep background in soccer instruction (club, collegiate, or high school coaching experience preferred).
- Committed to being a consistent, positive fixture at all practices and games throughout the fall season.
- Standard driver's license required.
Nice To Haves
- CDL is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Co-lead daily practices and manage approximately 9 competitive matches, fostering a competitive yet supportive team culture.
- Teach core technical skills, tactical awareness, and the rules of the game to enthusiastic middle school athletes.
- Safely transport the squad to away games in a school-provided 14-passenger bus.
