As a SOC Operator (Security Operations Center), you will play a critical role in monitoring security systems, managing incident response, and supporting the overall safety and operational integrity of the site. This position requires strong computer proficiency, analytical thinking, and a solid understanding of physical security operations and cybersecurity awareness. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of making sound decisions during critical situations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation and communication
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems required

Nice To Haves

  • Strong computer and technical skills required
  • Experience with surveillance systems, access control platforms, or security monitoring software preferred
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles or security operations strongly preferred
  • Excellent observational and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor surveillance systems, alarm platforms, access control systems, and other security technologies for suspicious activity or operational issues.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms while following established escalation procedures.
  • Recognize and report potential cyber-related threats, phishing attempts, unauthorized system access, or unusual digital activity.
  • Monitor badge access systems and verify authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Coordinate with on-site security personnel, emergency responders, management teams, and law enforcement when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed incident logs, daily activity reports, and security documentation.
  • Operate and troubleshoot security software, communication systems, and monitoring platforms.
  • Analyze security data and surveillance feeds to identify risks, vulnerabilities, or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain professional communication while assisting employees, visitors, and client personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, site protocols, and security standards.
