As a SOC Operator and Security Officer - Full Time Operator Patrol in San Mateo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. As SOC Operator, you will coordinate with Security Professionals on-site for incidents or emergencies. Interact with employee and client. Escalate any property damage on site to the proper channels. Communicate via phone, email and in person with various stake-holders. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and policy concerns.
  • Coordinate with Security Professionals on-site for incidents or emergencies.
  • Interact with employee and client.
