About The Position

Intervention, Inc. is a Colorado nonprofit providing services across the state’s criminal justice system, including sobriety monitoring, electronic monitoring, probation supervision, and community corrections. The Sobriety Services Technician is an entry-level role that provides drug and alcohol sobriety monitoring for court-ordered offenders and other clients. No previous experience is required. The position is based in Golden, Colorado, with hours of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The listed pay is $17.36 per hour. The role includes client check-in and specimen collection support, monitoring urine, breathalyzer, and oral-swab tests, maintaining accurate documentation and chain-of-custody records, processing payments, and assisting with testing results. Technicians are expected to maintain confidentiality, communicate professionally, respond calmly to stressful situations, attend training and staff meetings, and help maintain the office. The role may require coverage outside the regular schedule and driving a personal vehicle to courts, jails, or other sites, including in adverse weather. Because the job requires direct observation of females submitting urinalysis specimens, the employer identifies being female as a bona fide occupational qualification and will consider only female applicants.
