The Snubbing Operator safely operates, coordinates, and supports snubbing unit activities at well sites. Duties include rig-up and rig-down, equipment operation, routine inspection, maintenance support, crew mentorship, and preparing equipment for subsequent jobs. The role supports safe and efficient pressure-control operations, quality service, and customer satisfaction. Work is performed primarily outdoors in oilfield environments, in all weather conditions and with exposure to temperature extremes and high noise levels. The position requires a valid state-issued driver license and the ability to perform the essential functions of a physically demanding field role while following company policies, job-site procedures, and applicable safety requirements. Confined-space entry may be required, and employees are expected to exercise stop-work authority when conditions are unsafe. The typical schedule may include 12-hour shifts, a 14/7 rotation, extended hours, and approximately 60% travel, depending on customer and operational needs. May be required to work outside the normal schedule to meet customer needs.
