About The Position

Yellowstone Club's Snowsports department is currently seeking Snow Sports Events Crew candidates for the upcoming Winter season! Our Winter employment dates are Early December - March 31st. The purpose of the Events Crew is to aid in the set-up, tear down, and maintenance of event venues and equipment. This includes but is not limited to Freeride, Slopestyle, and Racecourse venues.

Requirements

  • This position requires strong skiing abilities.
  • Creditable Freeride, slopestyle, or race experience with ability to aid in set-up and tear down of venues.
  • Passion for working with participants of all ages.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while working with a group of all ages.
  • High School diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work

Responsibilities

  • Aid in set up and tear down of Freeride, Slopestyle, Racecourse, and all other event venues.
  • Maintain safe venue surfaces throughout the day.
  • Set netting as needed to ensure the safety in appropriate areas on course.
  • Work to understand course setting techniques as well as knowing the different disciplines.
  • Be available during day to assist with other duties as needed.
  • Be organized and detail oriented, utilizing checklists or other systems to ensure no task is left undone; anticipate events and plan ahead.
  • Prepare for the unexpected weather; remain focused on the end result.
