Sugarloaf Snowmaking Controller Night Shift
About The Position
Sugarloaf is seeking computer-savvy and mechanically inclined individuals to join our Snowmaking Team as Night Shift Controllers. In this role, you will monitor and control pumps and compressors from the control room, responding to the needs of the snowmaking teams on the hill. The ideal candidate is a good communicator who thrives working independently within a team, sharing essential information. You will utilize computer programs to manage water pumps, compressors, and maintenance logs, making critical decisions for the snowmaking operation. A Controller's key duties include maximizing efficiency, operating components based on temperature, monitoring water and air flows, and controlling compressors and pumps as needed. The starting wage for this position is $20/hour, and it includes great job perks and a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Good communication skills are a must.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be available for nights and weekends.
- Computer skills are required to run the program for water pumps, compressors, maintenance logs, and to make decisions for the snowmaking operation.
- Must be able to maximize efficiency; run necessary components according to temperature, monitor water and air flows; and must be able to turn compressors and pumps on and off accordingly.

Responsibilities
