Requirements

  • Early October start with training in snowmaking equipment and procedures.
  • Snow production begins late October or early November and continues until conditions no longer require it.
  • Seasonal positions available; employment may extend to other departments post-snowmaking season.
  • Primarily overnight shifts.
  • Flexible, weather-driven schedules.
  • Skill development and pay scale advancement based on performance.
  • Skills assessment after 120 operating hours may lead to a raise or promotion.
  • Must have a California Driver's License, be at least 19 years old, with a clean driving record for the past three years.
  • Safety Sensitive position subject to drug policies.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior snowmaking experience is a plus.
