Snowmaker
About The Position
Snowmakers are involved in the operation of snowmaking equipment whenever weather permits to meet our needs as determined by our Mountain Manager. The specific duties of a Snowmaker shall include but not be limited to: Genuinely interested in working outside in challenging and changing weather conditions. Able to work seven (7) days per week when needed and when possible. May be asked to work another area of the resort or called off when not needed. Day shift snowmakers may be assigned to direct traffic in the parking lot on weekends and holidays. May be kept busy with other duties.
Requirements
- Able to work 12-hour day or night shift in extreme weather condition.
- Able to frequently lift and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Able to pull heavy hoses or other equipment on hard packed or soft snow and on icy conditions.
- Must be safety conscious and aware of changing conditions.
- Minimum age is 18.
- Provide own outside clothing, warm and waterproof boots, and gloves.
- Dress code required.
