About The Position

Derex Technologies Inc is seeking a Snowflake Lead / Architect to join their team. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing Snowflake data platforms and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Snowflake architecture, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT development using PySpark, SQL, and Python. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and specific Snowflake features such as Snowpark, Streams, Tasks, and Materialized Views is crucial. The role also requires implementing data governance, security, and performance optimization strategies. Collaboration with business and technical teams, as well as mentoring team members, will be key responsibilities. The position is based in Rhode Island.

Requirements

• Snowflake Architecture & Data Warehousing
• PySpark, SQL, Python
• AWS or Azure Cloud
• ETL/ELT Development
• Snowpark, Streams, Tasks, Materialized Views
• Data Governance & Metadata Management
• CI/CD & Automation
• 10+ years of IT experience with 5–7+ years in Snowflake.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and PySpark.
• Experience building enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
