About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Informatica Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud (IICS), and Snowflake. This role focuses on migrating legacy ETL pipelines to cloud-based solutions on Azure and optimizing Snowflake data warehouse performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual contributor with expertise in data migration, metadata management, and performance tuning, capable of working independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Requirements

10–12+ years of overall IT experience
5+ years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter (ETL development)
Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC) migration
Strong expertise in Snowflake (SnowSQL, metadata, performance tuning)
Experience with Snowflake metadata analysis and optimization
Strong SQL and data modeling skills (ETL/ELT concepts)
Experience with Azure cloud platform (preferred but highly desired)
Strong communication skills and ability to work as an individual contributor

Nice To Haves

Experience with Azure Data Factory / Azure Data Lake
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Git
Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
Agile/Scrum experience
Snowflake Certification (SnowPro Core)
Experience working with distributed/global teams

Responsibilities

Migrate Informatica PowerCenter ETL workflows to Informatica Cloud (IICS) on Azure
Redesign and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for cloud scalability and performance
Perform end-to-end development, testing, and validation of migrated data pipelines
Analyze and clean up Snowflake metadata and unused objects
Optimize Snowflake performance and cost using metadata (ACCOUNT_USAGE, INFORMATION_SCHEMA)
Monitor and fine-tune query performance and warehouse utilization
Collaborate with architects, operations, and cross-functional teams
Support deployment planning and ensure smooth handoff to support teams
Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer artifacts
