About The Position

Capgemini is looking to hire an AWS Snowflake Engineer to join our Insight & Data team in LA area. Your role Develop and maintain data pipelines that ingest data from internal applications into Snowflake. Design and implement data transformations in snowflake that prepare datasets for operational workflows and system integrations. Ensure data is clean, accurate, validated and available for downstream consumers. Support integrations between Snowflake and enterprise applications. Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data models. Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability. Create clear documentation, including data dictionaries, process flows and operational runbooks. Follow best practices for data governance, security and quality.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake (SQL, data modeling, views, tasks, warehouse optimization).
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with structured datasets.
  • Experience building data integrations between systems (APIs, connectors, ETL tools or JDBC-based pipelines).
  • Familiarity with source control tools (Git) and collaborative development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
