The Snowflake Data Engineer will support Barrow Wise and perform the following duties: Perform data warehousing and scalability. Architect, optimize, and secure the cloud data environment that powers all data modeling tasks. Build and maintain Snowflake-based pipelines that ingest large-scale datasets; support reproducible modeling workflows; and ensure security requirements. Design and maintain Snowflake warehouses, databases, schemas, and role structures. Implement Snowflake best practices for compute scaling, micro-partitioning, clustering, and query optimization. Automate ingestion, harmonization, and validation of federal datasets required for statistical modeling. Clean, harmonize, and validate datasets. Build automated reproducibility workflows and modeling pipelines. Conduct anomaly detection, sensitivity analysis, and cross-dataset validation. Work remotely. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 6 years of experience performing large-scale data engineering projects
  • 3 years using the Snowflake platform, SQL, and cloud data engineering.
  • Experience building reproducible ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake Streams, Tasks, and external stages.
  • Ability to package Python/R modeling code into Snowpark stored procedures
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
