About The Position

Wipro is seeking a hands-on Snowflake Data Engineer to design, build, and operationalize AI-powered data solutions on Snowflake. The role combines customer engagement, solution architecture, data engineering, and AI implementation, with a strong focus on Snowflake Cortex AI, CoCO, CoCO Desktop, and modern enterprise data platforms. The position is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, with three onsite days per week. The engineer will develop AI applications and data platforms, build and integrate data pipelines, and guide work from workshops and proofs of concept through production deployment. The role also includes creating reusable accelerators and best practices. The expected compensation ranges from $60,000 to $135,000, with final compensation dependent on factors including location, skills, and relevant experience. Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platforms.
Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, security, governance, and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with Cortex AI, CoCO, CoCO Desktop, Snowpark, and AI/ML integration patterns.
Experience building LLM, RAG, vector search, and agentic AI solutions.
Strong SQL and Python skills.
Experience with Airflow, dbt, Spark, Kafka, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong customer-facing communication and solution architecture skills.
Mandatory skill: Snowflake Data Engineering.

Nice To Haves

Snowflake certifications in architecture, data engineering, or AI specialization.
Experience with Streamlit, Dynamic Tables, Snowpipe, and Native Apps.
Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models.
Knowledge of enterprise security, governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Design and implement AI-powered data solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI, CoCO, and CoCO Desktop.
Develop and deploy RAG, agentic workflows, semantic layers, and enterprise AI applications.
Architect scalable data platforms using Snowflake, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, dbt, and cloud-native services.
Build robust ELT/ETL pipelines and real-time integrations.
Lead workshops, architecture reviews, proofs of concept, and production deployments.
Develop reusable accelerators and best practices.
