About The Position

Marlabs is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer to transform raw data into trusted, authoritative sources that support business decisions. The role works in a fast-paced, agile environment to solve data integration challenges and enable data commercialization, AI-driven insights, and self-service analytics. The engineer collaborates across teams and uses cloud technologies, including Azure and Snowflake, to advance the organization’s data strategy.

The position designs and maintains scalable data pipelines, leads integration of external data into Snowflake, and supports data modeling and transformation. It also contributes to modernization from legacy tools to cloud-native solutions and enables reliable, accessible analytics through platforms such as Power BI and Sigma.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure, and Azure Service Bus in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability in data modeling, pipeline development, and scalable data architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, Sigma, and self-service analytics principles.

• Exposure to Python.
• Interest in collaborating on automation, scripting, and AI-driven data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Azure, and Azure Service Bus for enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Lead data integration, extracting data from external sources and landing it in Snowflake, including data modeling and transformation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop authoritative data sources for data commercialization and strategic decision-making.
• Use Jira, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps for sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
• Support modernization efforts by transitioning from legacy tools such as SnowMirror to cloud-native solutions.
• Enable self-service analytics through Power BI and Sigma, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
