About The Position

This is a temporary project for a Snowflake Administrator in Austin, TX, with an estimated duration of 12 months and possible extensions. The role requires 100% onsite work at the client's site. Candidates must be able to relocate as required. The position focuses on managing and optimizing the Snowflake platform, enabling AI capabilities, ensuring secure and cost-efficient operations, and supporting data pipelines.

Requirements

  • Experience with Snowflake platform administration (DBA/Admin role) (8+ years)
  • Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and data access governance implementation (8+ years)
  • Experience with SSO integration (Okta, SailPoint) (8+ years)
  • Experience with Snowflake AI (Cortex) features including AI functions, governance, and monitoring (8+ years)
  • Experience with Snowflake roles, privileges, and user provisioning aligned with enterprise IAM processes (8+ years)
  • Experience with Data pipelines and transformations using DBT (8+ years)
  • Experience with Snowflake integration with Openflow or similar orchestration tools for workflow automation (8+ years)
  • Experience with Warehouse performance, cost, and query execution monitoring and optimization (8+ years)
  • Experience with Security controls including encryption, masking, and audit monitoring (8+ years)
  • Experience with Automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance (8+ years)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and AI teams to support data and analytics use cases
  • Experience with DevOps / CI-CD pipelines for data platforms (4+ years)
  • Experience with Openflow or workflow orchestration tools integration (3+ years)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the Snowflake platform, including RBAC, SSO integration, and enterprise data governance
  • Enable AI capabilities using Snowflake Cortex while supporting data pipelines with DBT and Openflow
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and cost-efficient data platform operations across environments
  • Design and manage Snowflake roles, privileges, and user provisioning aligned with enterprise IAM processes
  • Build and support data pipelines and transformations using DBT
  • Integrate Snowflake with Openflow or similar orchestration tools for workflow automation
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse performance, cost, and query execution
