About The Position

GroundSystems is seeking dependable and experienced individuals and subcontractors for seasonal snow and ice removal operations in the Cincinnati area. Subcontractor opportunities are for people who provide their own equipment. The work is part-time and temporary, and is contingent on snowfall. Available subcontractor roles include Plow Truck Operator (up to $110/hr), Plow & Salt Combo Operator (up to $130/hr), Skid Loader Operator (up to $130/hr), Loader Operator (up to $275/hr), Sidewalk Snow Removal Crew (up to $45/hr), Snow Equipment Operator (up to $50/hr), and CDL Snow Truck Driver (up to $50/hr). Some roles have additional equipment, crew, transportation, experience, or insurance requirements.

Workers clear snow and ice from sidewalks, parking lots, and other areas; operate snow removal equipment; apply deicing materials; maintain and clean trucks and equipment as needed; and follow company and site safety guidelines. Workers must be available around the clock, including holidays, during snow events and able to reach a site within one hour of dispatch. They must use the TimeScape App to log hours, track site activity, and submit required documentation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in winter conditions.
• Must understand and speak basic English.
• Must follow all safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Available 24/7, including holidays, during snow events and able to arrive on-site within one hour of dispatch.
• Subcontractor roles require the worker to provide their own equipment; sidewalk crew applicants must provide transportation and a crew.
• Snow Equipment Operators must have experience.
• CDL Snow Truck Drivers must meet insurance requirements.
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required for driver roles.

Responsibilities

• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, parking lots, and other areas.
• Operate snow removal equipment, including skid steers, backhoes, loaders, plow trucks, and UTVs.
• Apply deicing materials using machines, trucks, or manually.
• Maintain and clean trucks and equipment as needed.
• Follow company and safety guidelines at every site.
• Use the TimeScape App to log hours, track site activity, and submit required documentation.
