Snow Shovelers, On-Call/Seasonal
About The Position
Piscataqua Landscaping & Tree Service is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join our snow shoveling team! As a key player in our snow division, you will be performing the critical job of creating safe conditions at large-scale properties ranging from commercial, residential and retirement communities. This is an on-call position with shifts and hours varying based on weather patterns. This position requires a promptly response to "on-call" requirements before, during, or immediately following winter storms. This is a seasonal opportunity, offering on-call hours. Individuals who prove to be dependable and hardworking may be offered full-time employment in Spring. Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from work daily no matter the time day/night or weather
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outside in cold weather for multiple hours at a time
- Punctuality & Dependability
- Appreciation for efficiency
- Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks
- Must be flexible to change direction
- Team player
- Willing and able to work 4 - 20 hours at a time shoveling snow in all weather conditions
- 18 years old or older
- Valid identification documents (Such as a U.S. passport, permanent resident card, driver’s license or identification card)
- Pass a physical and drug screen
