About The Position

The Snow Removal Technician will work as a member of the Base Operations team to open, remove, and maintain resort roads and parking areas as assigned. Requirements

Must enjoy working and interacting with the public
Must be highly organized, energetic, positive attitude, and the ability to get the job done.
Capable of maintaining a positive & professional attitude among your team.
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly responsible and reliable.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid US Driver’s License
Ability to do basic arithmetic.
Ability to identify problems and derive possible solutions.

Nice To Haves

Experience with heavy equipment preferred
Requires knowledge of computer hardware, word-processing, spreadsheet and data base software, prefer experience with Microsoft Office.
Requires knowledge of business letter writing and business forms; office procedures, business English, including vocabulary, correct grammatical usage and punctuation, filing systems; and common office machines and their operation.
Previous work experience with operating equipment prefered

Responsibilities

Recognize and report all equipment failure to the manager and the Vehicle Maintenance staff.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently on the mountain, including, loaders, Skid steers, walk behind snow blowers, Snow shovels, and any other equipment needed.
Support other department operation needs with equipment.
Obtain knowledge of the company utility locating policy and implementation of it.
Provide excellent customer service to guests, property owners, homeowners, club members and fellow employees.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
