About The Position

The Seasonal Snow Removal Team Member helps keep REMS and Secure Storage properties safe and accessible during winter weather conditions. We are seeking part-time team members based in the Baraboo area to support properties throughout Sauk County. This seasonal role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in a job well done, and can be counted on when winter weather arrives. Opportunities for year-round employment may be available for candidates interested in supporting maintenance, groundskeeping, landscaping, or other property services during warmer months.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license to travel between job sites as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in winter weather, hand shovel snow, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Snow removal, landscaping, groundskeeping, construction, maintenance, or similar experience
• Experience operating snow plows, snowblowers, skid steers, tractors, or other equipment is helpful but not required
• Equipment operator certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond to snow and ice events by clearing snow from designated property areas and customer sites
• Operate snow plows, snowblowers, vehicles, and other equipment safely and efficiently while following recommended operating procedures
• Control ice accumulation through the application of approved de-icing materials and hand-treating walkways, entrances, and other priority areas as needed
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment while maintaining safe working conditions
• Communicate professionally with residents, customers, and team members while complying with all health and safety regulations
