Requirements

At least 1 year of experience.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Pass a driver's background check.
Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
Able to be on call 24/7 during winter months.
Able to handle the physical demands of the position.
Be punctual and reliable.
Trainable, coachable, and able to grasp new concepts quickly.

Responsibilities

Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including snowplows, salt trucks, skid steers, front-end loaders, snow rators, and tractors, to remove snow safely and efficiently from commercial properties such as multi-family locations, parking lots, and high-traffic facilities.
Clear roadways, loading areas, docks, and parking lots in winter conditions including snow, snow/rain mix, extreme weather, and temperatures.
Create safe pathways for the public, pedestrians, and traffic by removing snow.
Report to the branch or assigned location within the given timeframe.
Be on call during the winter months for all snow and ice events.
Assist during snow and ice events by operating other snow or salt spreading equipment.
Ensure work is conducted safely and maintain work areas to be safe for employees, customers, the public, and the environment.
Perform at a high and safe level of productivity.
