About The Position

The City of Concord’s General Services Department, Highways Division, is hiring temporary, seasonal Snow Plow Operators to work from November 2026 through April 2027. Successful applicants are guaranteed 40 hours of work per week, whether or not it snows. The pay rate is $21.69 to $22.85 per hour, depending on qualifications. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered: $500 in mid-December 2026 and $500 in April 2027 upon completion of the winter assignment.

The typical schedule is days, Monday through Friday, and overtime is required. Applicants must have a CDL-B. Snow plow operating experience is a plus. Applications are open until filled, and a City application is required.
