Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a talented SNAP® Facilitator to administer the SNAP® curriculum to parent or child groups during a 13-week cycle. The role requires attending core SNAP training, submitting mock role-plays, and demonstrating a commitment to the SNAP program and its values. The facilitator will participate in a minimum of two 13-week group cycles and assist with intake, assessment, and food arrangements. This position involves weekly pre-briefing and de-briefing meetings, arriving an hour before group and staying 30 minutes after, as well as participating in weekly consultation calls. The facilitator will utilize a strength-based perspective to help youth and families strengthen and manage their lives by engaging the family, advocating on their behalf, initiating change agent activities, helping them access community supports, teaching problem-solving skills, modeling productive behaviors, and assisting in the successful completion of developmental milestones. The role reports to the SNAP® Coordinator and requires participation in staff meetings.
