About The Position

Join our team as a Snack Bar Manager at the Vineyard Golf Course! At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations. This part time position works various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. A seasonal food service management job, this position requires basic management skills developed through on-the-job experience and training. Standard practice allows employee to proceed alone on most duties with work results checked through normal administrative process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required with at least two years food service experience with prior supervisory experience.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
  • ServSafe Food and TIPS Alcohol Service Certification within 1 year of employment.
  • State Motor Vehicle Operator’s License that meets Great Parks of Hamilton County’s current carrier guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises food service and wet play personnel in performance of job duties and responsibilities. Assigns tasks and provides direction. Trains and schedules staff, and enforces work rules such as dress and personal hygiene requirements. Handles customer complaints.
  • Monitors food inventory levels and orders inventory needs. Conducts scheduled inventory counts. Tracks and controls food waste.
  • Conducts cash control procedures. Follows up on collecting shortages. Goes to bank to obtain appropriate change for days business.
  • Prevents alcohol abuse by customers and handles intoxicated patrons according to procedures established by the Alcohol Awareness program.
  • Accounts for daily cash transactions. Complies with all cash handling policies and enforces cash control procedures including; POS operation, daily deposits, shift/change tills, required logs and regular cash audits.
  • Assists in promoting food and merchandise sales through daily public relation contacts with customers and development of sales promotions and special events.
  • Acts as manager on duty in absence of Guest Experiences Manager or Assistant Guest Experiences Manager II.
  • Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks of Hamilton County’s policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
  • Maintains confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information.
  • Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required.
