About The Position

The Snack Bar Attendants job duties include stocking food and drinks, greeting Members and guests, and preparing and serving food and beverage products. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential for this job.

Responsibilities

• Displays, stocks, and maintains food under appropriate hot or cold conditions before opening and during shift change.
• Completes food preparation in a timely manner.
• Keeps display equipment and glass clean at all times.
• Greets members in a courteous and timely fashion.
• Applies knowledge of daily menu items and explains to members accurately.
• Relays relevant comments received from members directly to management.
• Adheres to all Snack Bar policies and procedures, paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
• Reports problems or discrepancies to the management immediately.
• Prepares all food items according to printed food orders and in a timely order.
• Prepares, slices, chops, and stocks food products as needed per station set list.
• Ensures all unused food products are stored and restocked or disposed of properly.
• Examines, labels, dates, and stores all food supplies in storage and refrigerators and hot holding areas appropriately.
• Ensures kitchen equipment, appliances, and workstation, have been cleaned after each shift, and turned off at time of close.
• Maintains work areas in a sanitized and orderly manner in compliance with state health and safety regulations.
• Reports any health and/or safety concerns and violations immediately to management.
• Rings up all sales accurately at the POS.
• Answers telephone and takes accurate messages, and screens/directs telephone calls in a professional manner.
• Accounts for the daily POS receipts.
• Removes trash at end of shift.
