Camp Store - Snack Bar Attendant
About The Position
The Snack Bar Attendant must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent service. This role focuses on customer service and quality, paying close attention to detail. The attendant works well under pressure and in high-stress situations, requiring alertness and focus on tasks for prolonged periods. Excellent communication skills are essential. The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and at times, you may be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for. A team member is expected to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset, completing any tasked functions with enthusiasm and dedication.
Requirements
- Must be 15 years of age or older
- 100% attendance
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to communicate with staff and guests clearly
- Comfortable being near people of all ages and genders
- Excellent listening skills
- Eagerness to provide excellent service
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Alert and focused on tasks for prolonged periods
- Excellent communication skills
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitized environment within the Ice Cream Shop.
- Greeting our guests with a friendly smile
- Taking detailed and accurate orders
- Operating the machinery in a safe and clean manner
- De-escalating guest complaints in a professional and friendly manner
- Operating cash register
