About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Snack Bar Attendant to receive food and beverage orders from guests. The attendant will prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards, operate a cash register, complete monetary transactions, and maintain an accurate bank. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have excellent customer skills.
Must be able to sit, walk, grasp, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and stand for entire duration of shift.
Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications and keep them current.
Must be able obtain ATC liquor permit.

Nice To Haves

Prior food handling experience preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Knowledge of all methods of checking tendering (cash, comp, coupon, credit cards and gift certificates, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point of sale system, complete cash and credit transactions, and maintain an accurate bank.
Cook orders in a timely manner (Prep, grill, fry, carve, bake, prepare pizzas, and sandwiches) following standard recipes.
Bag orders, prepare beverages, prepare food trays, and wrap food items for convenient access.
Follow and adhere to all Health Codes (State, Federal, and OSHA requirements) and company guidelines.
Operate all necessary equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Obtain food, beverages, condiments, and supplies from kitchen/stockroom and deliver to outlet as necessary; maintain stock levels in outlet and work stations.
Work in a fast-paced operating mode.
Relay guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate supervisor.
Perform all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by management.
Serve ready to drink alcoholic beverages.
