Requirements

  • Four years of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.
  • Working in semiconductor or electronics in either quality, product engineering, support or a direct sales role;
  • Design, product development, new product introduction and test engineering processes;
  • Develop innovative stress test flows and screens to improve quality in production;
  • Environmental stress methods, performing reliability analysis;
  • Apply data analysis & statistical analytical methods to predictively improve product quality;
  • Collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality semiconductor production ramp;
  • Failure analysis techniques and methodologies for root cause determination.

Responsibilities

  • Provide new product introduction quality support.
  • Own NPI quality release requirements for new product introduction.
  • Support marketing messaging related to new product release for components & boards.
  • Remove customer qualification barriers to new product sales including characterization, testing, reliability, and environmental.
  • Work with support, design, product, and test engineering to drive customer 8D resolution and preventive action.
  • Quality with sales, factory, and key customers.
  • Understand emerging customer quality, use profiles, and environmental requirements.
  • Manage and drive factory quality requirements with key factory engineering leaders.
  • Shape & improve customer quality scorecard results.
  • Plan and manage customer technology assessments, audits, and visits.
  • Drive customer issue handling.
  • Work closely with sales FAE’s & technical support to diagnose application issues & other customer problems.
  • Resolve customer issues to root cause and corrective actions.
  • Drive projects or processes of significant technical importance.
  • Exercise independent judgment to select methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies.
