Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Responsibilities

  • Assume end-to-end responsibility for pre-silicon and post-silicon activities related to USB IP in AMD products.
  • Develop and execute feature enablement and test plans for USB IP.
  • Write firmware for embedded u-controllers in C.
  • Debug and solve system-level issues that may occur in test environments and platforms.
  • Prototype FW USB features for future SOC.
  • Develop test automation infrastructure and scripts.
  • Proactively drive improvement with all touchpoints.
  • Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD products.
