About The Position

Nesco Resource is looking for an SMT Operator located in Brookfield, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM Pay: Starts at $17/Hour, depending on experience. Responsible for programming and operating SMT machines to assemble printed circuit boards according to customer specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of SMT operation and programming experience
• Ability to read assembly drawings and identify electronic components
• Knowledge of SMT/through-hole assembly and IPC-A-610 standards
• Strong soldering skills
• Basic computer skills and English proficiency
• Standing and operating equipment for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Use of magnification tools as needed

Nice To Haves

• Technical training preferred
• Universal equipment experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up and run SMT machines
• Program equipment for production jobs
• Perform assembly tasks and assist other departments as needed
• Follow quality standards and report equipment maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Support internal audits and process improvements
