SME Systems Engineer - API (TS/SCI w/CI Poly Clearance Required)

We are seeking candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience to support cloud-based development across Windows/COTS applications with a strong focus on API gateway, API management, and secure integration.
Requirements
- 10+ years relevant experience
- STEM Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required
- Meet DoDD 8140 requirements (e.g., Security+ CE)
- Expertise working with Windows platforms and COTS applications in cloud environments
- 5+ years experience with API gateway technologies (Broadcom API experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of API design principles
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Strong understanding of industry-standard protocols
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
- Familiarity with orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with strong communication
- Strong problem-solving / analytical skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Demonstrated engineering rigor and quality discipline
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including log investigation and root-cause analysis
- Experience with cloud architecture and system design
- Experience with system testing and validation
- Strong documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Broadcom API experience strongly preferred
