About The Position

ECS is seeking a SME - Information Technology Project Manager to work in our
O’Fallon, IL office.

The candidate possesses and applies extensive knowledge of planning, initiating,
and managing information technology (IT) projects. Leads and guides the work of
technical staff. Collaborates directly with customers. Serve as liaison between
business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess
business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure milestones,
schedule, deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Performs feasibility
analysis on potential future projects to leadership. Maintains metrics on
project performance. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application
software packages, application integration and testing tools. Supports CMMI
processes and EVM tasks and reports status, issues, risks, and metrics. May
supervise others.

Requirements

• Familiar knowledge of GATES operations, architecture, and mission within the USTRANSCOM environment
• Proven experience managing large-scale DoW IT programs supporting logistics, transportation, or command & control systems
• Deep understanding of DoW cybersecurity frameworks including DISA STIG compliance
• Demonstrated leadership managing cross-functional IT teams, including developers, systems administrators, cybersecurity, and network engineers
• Experience with system lifecycle management (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, sustainment) in a DoW environment
• Proven ability to develop and deliver executive-level briefings to senior military and civilian leadership
• Knowledge/Experience with Java, Linux, Oracle RDBMS, & AWS
