About The Position

Everforth ECS is seeking a SME Business Intelligence Analyst to support our Defense health organization in Falls Church, VA. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the health sector and leverage data analysis and reporting tools to extract insights from healthcare data, supporting critical decision-making within the military and defense healthcare systems. This role involves applying technical, programmatic, and soft skills to enhance operational efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and optimize resource allocation within a defense health context. As a SME Business Intelligence Analyst, you will bring analytical and strategic expertise to projects for military healthcare, supporting clients in the transformation of healthcare systems and large data platforms. You will act as a trusted advisor, assisting in identifying, analyzing, and evaluating complex systems, policies, and processes to evolve military healthcare programs. Everforth ECS will support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) by delivering comprehensive program management and advanced analytics services to enhance decision-making across critical healthcare IT initiatives. This effort integrates tools such as SEMOSS, Python, R, and AI-driven analytics to develop enterprise dashboards, perform predictive analysis, and streamline reporting and planning activities.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Ph. D in Business, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with OCONUS / Global Program Management.
  • Experience with DoD IT systems maintenance and enhancements.
  • 10+ years of DoD work experience.
  • 15+ years total work experience in Business Intelligence.
  • Advance knowledge of Tableau, Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior team members.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets.
  • Statistical, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to quickly transition and reassess priorities to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the health sector.
