About The Position
At Springboard Automation, we don’t just install gear; we orchestrate environments. We are looking for an experienced technician & programmer who lives and breathes Lutron HomeWorks and understands how lighting, shading, and AV come together to create a world-class home.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in high-end residential AV.
- Familiarity with luxury control systems.
- Experience with Lutron HomeWorks or Savant is highly preferred.
- A solid understanding of residential networking (Wi-Fi, VLANs, routing) and signal flow.
- Pride in your work—clean racks, hidden wires, and precise installations.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and a valid driver’s license.
- Overnight travel is an essential function of this role.
Responsibilities
- Program & Commission: Set up and configure high-end lighting, shading, and automation systems (Lutron, Savant, and more).
- System Optimization: Test, troubleshoot, and fine-tune complex residential networks and AV systems, both on-site and remotely.
- Precision Installation: Install TVs, premium audio, and motorized shading systems where beautiful finishes, clean craftsmanship, rack-building, and attention to detail matter.
- Collaborate: Work alongside an elite team that operates on a strict "No Ego, No Blame" policy.
