About The Position

About the role As an Account Executive you will be responsible for managing deal cycles from generation through to close. You will be the primary contact with the prospect and have the responsibilities of, qualification, demoing, providing technical assistance, and negotiating contracts. We look for people who are curious, confident, and have a high technical aptitude. As an AE you are accountable for the plan to hit your goal and will enjoy the full assistance of the company to make you successful. You will be surrounded by a great team of people from whom you can learn from, that said, we also want to learn from you. Most importantly, we want entrepreneurs.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of work experience in a sales role, preferably at a startup
  • A demonstrated track record of exceeding your quota
  • Love closing deals and helping businesses by delivering a product that has concrete value
  • Solutions oriented- you recognize objections and help your customers see value in our product regardless of their knowledge of our industry
  • Extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills — people trust you and get the sense that you are advocating for something in which you believe
  • Experience working with high-velocity sales cycles or selling to small businesses
  • Resilient—you bounce back from setbacks quickly, are resourceful, and find creative ways to get things done
  • Comfortable with a wide range of sales tools, including Salesforce or other CRMs
  • A passion for solving big problems and having an immediate and positive impact
  • Ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable.
  • The ability to learn technology basics and apply them to business situations.

Responsibilities

  • Work full cycle deals from demo complete to close.
  • Research and target companies using prospecting tools.
  • Build and manage a pipeline.
  • Learn and demonstrate our platform to new prospective customers.
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Record and document all sales activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Successfully utilize all sales tech tools.
