About The Position

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office in Boise, ID. Candidates must reside within commutable distance or be willing to relocate. The Associate Account Executive is a critical role within the sales team, supporting the sales processes by working closely with Account Executives and other sales team members. Responsibilities include assisting with client communications, tracking sales activities, preparing sales materials, cross-team collaboration, conducting market research, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and supporting onboarding and renewal processes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about serving others and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field and 0-3 years of experience in direct sales customer service or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be currently licensed, or must become licensed within 90 days of hire, to sell insurance (health, life, and/or disability) in the state(s) where business is conducted.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Deep health plan industry knowledge.
  • Strong market research experience.
  • Demonstrates strong relationship management skills.
  • Ability to engage in community/networking opportunities outside of normal business hours.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to adapt to fast-paced dynamic business environments.
  • Requires a wired internet connection that is not satellite or cellular with a minimum upload speed of 5Mb and a minimum download speed of 10 Mb.
  • Requires access to a personal mobile device to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

  • Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential business opportunities and assist in developing effective sales strategies for supported accounts.
  • Support the sales team with creating presentations, proposals and other sales materials including conducting research and analyzing data.
  • Assist in product recommendations, client renewals, and implementations.
  • Build and maintain client and broker relationships; maintain active records of sales activities including client interactions, meeting outcomes and sales metrics.
  • Effectively work within a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate meetings, organize client documentation, schedule appointments and arrange travel logistics.
  • Create, plan and execute business and social events to build relationships with key community members and clients.
