Small Engine Service Technician
About The Position
This position will perform mid-level and advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Polaris, Kawasaki & Honda ATV’s & SXS’s as well as Cub Cadet Lawn Mowers. The role involves inspecting and identifying mechanical defects, performing electrical diagnostics, and reading wiring diagrams. Responsibilities include rebuilding engines, transmissions, and clutches, as well as performing basic maintenance such as oil changes, transmission services, filter replacements, throttle body & carburetor cleaning & adjustments, drive shaft replacements, brake repairs & drive belt replacements. The technician must be able to operate power tools, special tools, forklifts, torches, welders, etc. Additionally, the role requires typing detailed descriptions of completed repairs and noting any other issues found for customers. Good communication skills are essential. The technician must maintain a clean and safe work environment and complete all required hands-on and online training modules to become certified in all brands.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in Computer/I-Pad navigation
- 3 Years experience in small engine/off road
- Work a 40 HR work week
- Must be 21 Years of Age
- Possess advanced mechanical knowledge
Nice To Haves
- ATV/SXS experience is preferred
Responsibilities

- Type up a full detailed description of what repairs were completed and note any other issues found to let the customer know of any other issues found and need addressed.
- Maintain a clean & safe work environment.
- Complete all required hands-on training and online training modules to get certified in all brands.
