About The Position

LandPro Equipment is seeking a Small Engine Road Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain small agricultural and turf equipment at customer locations. The role involves traveling to customer sites to perform field service, troubleshoot equipment, complete preventative maintenance, and handle urgent repairs to minimize customer downtime. The technician works independently in the field with support from a team, communicates with customers about repairs and recommendations, and maintains service records and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience performing equipment service repairs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience diagnosing and repairing small engines.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostics.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete digital work orders.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to provide personal tools for the role.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with John Deere, turf, or agricultural equipment.
• Previous road service or mobile technician experience.
• Experience using Service Advisor or similar diagnostic software.
• Ability to mentor or train technician trainees.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain small agricultural and turf equipment at customer locations.
• Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs.
• Respond efficiently to service calls to minimize customer downtime.
• Communicate with customers about repairs, recommendations, and timelines.
• Keep the service vehicle, tools, parts inventory, and equipment clean and in working order.
• Complete work orders, reports, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Participate in training programs to develop technical skills.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
